Binance is a leading centralized crypto exchange offering spot and margin trading with leverage, enabling long/short positions. AlphaInsider integrates with Binance to create automated trading bots, using strategies from the marketplace or custom ones. This setup requires a margin account for automation.

- Minimum $100 balance in margin account.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
- Login to Binance: Access your account.
- Create Margin Account: Follow "How to set up" link; complete quiz, activate, transfer $100+ to margin wallet.
- Access API Management: Account dropdown > API management.
- Disable Default Security: Uncheck box, confirm (may require 2FA).
- Create API Key: Click "Create API" > System generated > Next.
- Name Key: Enter name > Next.
- Enable Permissions: Check "Enable spot and margin trading". Keep withdrawals off for security—AlphaInsider only needs execution rights.
- Restrict IPs: Check "Restrict access to trusted IPs only". Copy IPs from AlphaInsider's New Broker Connection modal, paste.
- Save: Confirm (2FA may be needed).
- Copy Keys: Note public (API key) and private (secret key).
- Connect on AlphaInsider: In bot setup or auto trade from strategy, select Binance, paste keys > Create.
